CHIROPRACTIC CARE IN MANDURAH
Chiropractic care at EiraForma begins with understanding what has brought you in, how it is affecting your life and what you would like to get back to.
We combine individual assessment, clear explanations, movement-focused care and hands-on treatment where appropriate. There is no assumption that one technique or one treatment schedule suits everyone.
OUR APPROACH
More Than One Technique
Chiropractic is a registered health profession concerned with the assessment and management of musculoskeletal presentations.
An appointment does not automatically mean having your spine manipulated. Depending on your presentation, chiropractic care may involve education, movement or exercise advice, practical self-management strategies and hands-on techniques such as mobilisation or manipulation where clinically appropriate.
At EiraForma, the technique is not the starting point. The person is.
Your symptoms, health history, movement, everyday demands, goals, preferences and assessment findings help determine what may be useful and whether chiropractic care is appropriate at all.
THE TECHNIQUE IS NOT THE STARTING POINT. THE PERSON IS.

COMMON REASONS FOR VISITING
Start With What You’re Experiencing
People consult chiropractors for many different musculoskeletal concerns. The reason someone attends helps guide assessment, but it does not determine treatment by itself.
Back Pain
Back discomfort, stiffness or pain affecting movement, work, lifting, training or everyday activity.
Neck Pain
Neck pain or stiffness affecting work, driving, sleep, movement or activity.
Sciatica & Leg Pain
Back or leg symptoms that may include pain, altered sensation, tingling or other neurological features requiring appropriate assessment.
Headaches
Headache presentations where musculoskeletal or neck-related factors may be relevant, while recognising that headaches have many possible causes.
Work-Related Aches & Pain
Musculoskeletal concerns occurring around desk work, trades, physical work, FIFO demands or changes in workload.
These are broad reasons someone may seek assessment, not a list of conditions that chiropractic care is guaranteed to help.
NEW PATIENT OPENING OFFER
Your Journey Starts with a New Patient Chiropractic Consultation
$189 total | $94.50 to book
Your New Patient Process includes two appointments: a 45-minute New Patient Chiropractic Consultation followed by a separate 30-minute Report of Findings.
Where clinically appropriate, treatment at either appointment is included at no additional cost.
$94.50 to book + $94.50 at your second appointment. Usually $239.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Understand First. Decide What Happens Next.
01 — TALK
Tell Us What’s Going On
We begin with your current concern, relevant health history, previous episodes, work, activity, lifestyle and the things your symptoms are making difficult. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what is wrong or which treatment you need.
02 — ASSESS
Look at What May Be Relevant
Your chiropractor selects an examination based on your individual presentation rather than applying the same tests to everyone. This may include relevant movement, joint, muscle or functional assessment and, where indicated, neurological examination or other appropriate clinical testing.
03 — EXPLAIN
Make Sense of the Findings
We explain what the assessment suggests, what remains uncertain and what the available options may be. The aim is to give you a useful understanding of your presentation without frightening explanations about your body being fragile or “out of alignment”.
04 — DECIDE
Agree on the Next Step
If chiropractic care is appropriate, we discuss the options with you before proceeding. If medical investigation, another health professional or a different approach appears more appropriate, that should form part of the conversation too.
YOUR CARE
Different People Need Different Things
There is no single chiropractic treatment that everyone requires. What forms part of your care should depend on your presentation, preferences and what remains useful as you progress.
Education & Understanding
Understanding what may be happening, what is reassuring and what deserves attention can make it easier to make informed decisions about activity and care.
Movement & Exercise
Movement or exercise may be used to restore comfortable movement, build capacity or help you return progressively to work, sport and everyday activity. There is no single exercise programme that every chiropractic patient needs.
Chiropractic Mobilisation or Manipulation
Hands-on joint techniques may be considered where appropriate. This may include mobilisation or manipulation depending on the person’s presentation and preferences. These techniques are options rather than automatic requirements.
Soft-Tissue Techniques
Hands-on soft-tissue approaches may sometimes be incorporated where clinically appropriate.
Practical Self-Management
Advice may include temporarily modifying activity, gradually rebuilding physical demands, movement strategies or other practical steps relevant to everyday life.
Additional Options & Referral
Where indicated and appropriate, separate options such as dry needling or shockwave therapy may be discussed. Sometimes the most appropriate next step is medical assessment, imaging, another allied-health profession or collaborative care.
YOUR CHOICE MATTERS
You Don’t Have to Be “Adjusted”
Chiropractic care is not limited to spinal manipulation, and you do not have to receive a particular technique simply because you booked a chiropractic appointment. Before hands-on treatment, your chiropractor should explain what is being proposed and why it may be considered.
You can ask questions, discuss alternatives, tell us about previous treatment experiences, request a different approach, decline a technique or change your mind.
Your preferences and consent remain part of clinical decision-making throughout your care. Good care should make you an active participant in the decisions being made about your body.
IMAGING
More Testing Is Not Always Better Testing
Imaging is not routinely required simply because someone visits a chiropractor. For many uncomplicated musculoskeletal presentations, the history and physical assessment provide the information needed to decide on the initial next step.
X-rays, CT scans or MRI can be valuable when there is a particular clinical reason for further investigation, such as significant trauma, relevant neurological findings or concern about another condition. Scans can also identify common structural changes that do not necessarily explain someone’s symptoms.
At EiraForma, imaging should have a purpose. The useful question is whether a scan is likely to meaningfully change what happens next. If further investigation is appropriate, we explain why and discuss the appropriate referral pathway.
CARE IN CONTEXT
Your Life Matters to the Plan
Bodies do not exist separately from work, family, sport, sleep, pregnancy, routines or everyday physical demands. Understanding that context can make recommendations more relevant and realistic.
Desk Work & Driving
Long periods in one position may become uncomfortable for some people. Care can consider movement variety, workplace demands and gradually improving tolerance rather than chasing one perfect posture.
Trades & FIFO
Lifting, carrying, machinery, travel, long shifts and rapidly changing workloads create different physical demands. Recommendations should reflect the actual work someone needs to perform.
Sport & Training
The aim is not automatically to stop meaningful activity. Where appropriate, assessment can help guide temporary modification and progressive return toward normal training or sport.
Family & Everyday Life
Lifting children, household demands, pregnancy, disrupted routines and ordinary day-to-day movement all matter when deciding what is practical.
NO PRESET SCHEDULE
Review. Adapt. Finish When It Makes Sense.
There is no automatic number of chiropractic appointments simply because someone has a particular symptom. Recommendations should change as your presentation changes.
That might mean continuing an approach that is proving useful, changing what is being done, progressing movement or exercise, spacing appointments further apart, concluding active care, investigating something further or involving another healthcare professional.
Progress should be reviewed rather than assuming that the original plan continues indefinitely. Your goals, response and preferences remain part of those decisions.

CHIROPRACTIC QUESTIONS WE HEAR
Clear Answers, Before You Arrive
Evidence & Further Reading
These public resources offer further evidence-informed information about chiropractic care and musculoskeletal health. They do not replace individual clinical advice.
READY WHEN YOU ARE
Start With an Individual Assessment
You do not need to know exactly what treatment you need before you arrive. If a musculoskeletal concern is affecting your movement, work, sport or everyday life, the first step is understanding what is happening and deciding what may be appropriate from there.
